The Mercedes-AMG Hypercar – probably the most fascinating two seater that will ever hit the road.
The highly efficient and powerful Formula One World Champion drivetrain accompanied by a purely electric
and wheel selective front axle drive concept is expected to develop a combined system power of
more than 1,000 hp (735 kW) - a true Performance Hybrid. It is a project that sets a spectacular

Australian performance car enthusiasts were the first in the world to secure orders for the upcoming Mercedes-AMG hypercar - without so much as seeing it.
Already home to the strongest concentration of AMG models in the world, Australia secured the first order for the Formula 1-powered machine when a customer locked in their purchase within five minutes of the car being announced at the Paris motor show in September.
Mercedes-Benz spokesman David McCarthy says several Australians have paid tens of thousands of dollars to secure a slot in the vehicle's limited production run.

"We have six orders for the hypercar," he says.
"I don't know that we are going to get more than six cars. We did have the first order in the world - we are pretty happy about that."
Mercedes-AMG boss Tobias Moers revealed new information surrounding the car at the Detroit motor a show on Monday, confirming that it will have a Formula 1-derived power train with more than 1000 horsepower (745kW), including clever torque-vectoring electric motors on the front axle.

Moers says the car will have a minimum electric-only range of 25 kilometres, making it a technically similar proposition to Porsche's 918 Spyder.
The brand has not locked in prices for the new machine, which is likely to rival the discontinued McLaren P1, Ferrari LaFerrari and Porsche 919 "Holy Trinity"..
Moers says the car is likely to cost around two million Euros ($2.88m) plus local costs. A price sure to include enough luxury car tax to buy a family home.
McCarthy says local examples will go to collectors who are genuine supporters of the brand, not speculators trying to make a quick buck.
While it will only be available in left-hand-drive, that hasn't stopped Australian collectors from acquiring special cars such as the Bugatti Veyron, Ferrari LaFerrari and McLaren P1... and using them on the road from time to time.
The car shares its 1.6-litre V6 engine with Lewis Hamilton's F1 machine, and silhouette-style illustrations issued by Mercedes suggest the car will have a similar appearance to Le Mans racers, down to the narrow cockpit, vertical support fin and oversized tyres shared by Porsche's 919 and the Audi R18.
Mercedes-Benz designer Gorden Wagener says that although the car shares the same "clean and pure" design language of other cars offered by the brand, the result is "very extreme".
