Re: 2018 Suzuki Jimny
Ostaju takvi?

Re: 2018 Suzuki Jimny
Suzuki is preparing the five-door Jimny with a turbo engine
In 2022, Suzuki will launch the five-door version of the Jimny called the Jimny Long, with its wheelbase being 30 cm longer than that of the three-door version.
Due to the extra weight from the larger body, Suzuki will replace the naturally aspirated engine with a mild hybrid turbo engine. The model will initially be available in the Japanese market and it remains unknown whether it will come to Europe.

Re: 2018 Suzuki Jimny
30cm duže međuosovinsko i ovaj render nemaju veze. Ovakav bi se nasukao "iza prvog ćoška".

Re: 2018 Suzuki Jimny
The family-friendly Jimny will be heavier following the growth spurt and Suzuki will compensate for the added bulk by fitting a more powerful engine. The engineers are reportedly adding turbocharging into the mix, along with a mild-hybrid setup. These changes will come at a cost as Autoc-One believes the Jimny Long will be 300,000 yen (nearly $3,000) more expensive than the JDM-spec Jimny Sierra.
Excluding the rear doors, the styling changes will be kept down to a minimum as the only other major modification will be a redesigned front grille with a single horizontal slat replacing the current five-slot vertical setup. Interestingly, Suzuki is allegedly cooking up a more expensive version to make the Jimny Long look like a baby Mercedes G-Class, but take this info with a heavy dose of salt.

Re: 2018 Suzuki Jimny
baš nije crna boja za njega, treba nešto živahno i veselo.
sem ako vlasnik ne leči frustraciju zvanu G-klasa. nemam drugo objašnjenje.

Suzuki Jimny Lite revealed for overseas markets
https://www.autocarindia.com/car-news/s ... ets-421174
Entry-level variant of the Jimny will launch in Australia first, followed by other markets.
Suzuki is readying an even more affordable version of the popular Jimny SUV. This new variant will be called the Suzuki Jimny Lite and will launch in Australia first. We tell you more about it.
The Jimny Lite will come with a few features and equipment deletions that are currently standard on the Jimny Sierra sold globally. The Jimny Lite will not be available with alloy wheels but will get black steel wheels instead, it will also omit the SmartPlay infotainment system but will come with a 2-DIN audio system that will be similar to the ones seen on Maruti Suzuki mid-spec models sold in our market. The Jimny Lite also misses out on fog lamps and projector headlamps.
The vehicle performance and engine specifications remain unchanged to the current Jimny – however the Jimny Lite will be available in Manual Transmission only.
The Jimny Lite will ride on standard 15” steel wheels, continuing to provide high levels of stability with low rolling resistance. Plastic textured side mirror covers, Halogen projector headlights without standard fog lamps are the only other notable exterior differences to the Jimny already on our roads.
As opposed to the Jimny’s standard fitment Infotainment system, the Jimny Lite will be released with an in-dash Radio / CD player, including standard Bluetooth connectivity, allowing calls and music to be streamed effortlessly. Air conditioning remains as a standard fitment with manually operated climate control.
There won’t be any changes mechanically, which means the Jimny Lite will come with the same 102hp 1.5-litre petrol mated to a five-speed manual transmission. It will also come with standard four-wheel drive gear including low range, just like the more expensive versions of the SUV.
Suzuki Jimny Lite: availability
The Jimny Lite will be built in Japan and will be introduced in markets like Australia first where it will go on sale in August this year.
As far as India goes, Maruti Suzuki already builds and exports the Jimny Sierra to multiple international markets. A facelifted version with more features and altered looks along with a much awaited five-door bodystyle is in the works and will see light of day in the future.

Re: 2018 Suzuki Jimny
Ponadao sam se da ovo lite možda znači neki 2WD model za koji ne bi bilo previše besmisleno da ga uzmem za vožnju po gradu.
