1.5t, 500l gepek, 270 cm međuosovinsko rastojanje, 160KS i 208Nm, 10.5s do 100km/h, maksimalna brzina 198 km/h, deklarisana gradska potrošnja oko 8l, otvoreno oko 6l, šestostepeni menjač...
Mazda is a master at keeping its models up to date with yearly model year updates. Sometimes it concerns tiny changes, sometimes larger ones. The adjustments that Mazda is now making on the CX-5 fall into the latter category. The Mazda CX-5 gets a range of new mild-hybrid powertrains.
Until recently, the Mazda CX-5 was available with 165 hp and 194 hp SkyActiv-G petrol engines and those machines will continue to exist. From now on they will be called e-SkyActiv G. And that is not without reason.
Mild hybrid
The 2.0 and 2.5 liter four-cylinder petrol engines that Mazda supplies in the CX-5 are now equipped with Mazda's 24V M Hybrid technology. So from now on we are dealing with mild-hybrid machines. The 2.0 e-SkyActiv G is, just like before, 165 hp and 213 Nm strong and the speeds at which those forces are released are also unchanged. The CX-5 with this 165 hp mild hybrid petrol engine always sends its power to the front wheels and, as before, is available with a six-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed automatic transmission. The version with manual transmission has an average consumption of 6.5 l/100 km and is therefore more economical than the variant without M-Hybrid technology (6.8 l/100 km). The Mazda CX-5 with this petrol engine and automatic transmission consumes an average of 6.9 l/100 km and is therefore more economical than the CX-5 without mild hybrid technology (7.3 l/100 km).
More power is provided by 2.5 e-SkyActiv G, which is now called e-SkyActiv G. That previously 194 hp and 258 Nm strong petrol engine gets a few Nm's and now kicks it up to 263 Nm. This 2.5 is always linked to an automatic transmission and is available with both front and four-wheel drive. The average consumption of the front-wheel drive is 7.2 l/100 km, the four-wheel drive enjoys an average of 7.6 l/100 km (was: 8.0 l/100 km). Mazda says, among other things, that it has improved the throttle response of the 2.5.
