On June 6, the Aston Martin Bulldog's attempt to reach 320+ km/h

In the 70s, Aston Martin presented the Bulldog concept , a prototype that bore the signature of designer William Towns, who had also designed the first DBS in the 1960s, as well as the Lagonda Series 2.

The Bulldog was originally planned to go into a limited production run of 25 cars, but due to its high price, which would have been over £1m at the time, it ultimately did not go into production.

Aston Martin aimed for its model to become the first production car capable of reaching speeds in excess of 200 mph, specifically up to 237 mph (381 km/h). In 1981 it was tested, but the car managed to reach 307 km/h (191 mph).

In early 2020 , Classic Motor Cars of Bridgnorth, England announced that it would once again attempt to reach the 200+ mph (322 km/h) target. In order to achieve this, he has announced that he will need 18 months of work to completely rebuild the car to its original condition.

The rebuild was completed last year and the Bulldog won the prestigious Coppa d'Ora at the 2022 Villa d'Este Concorso d'Eleganza for the work done. The next plan for this unique car is to try to hit 200mph, which will be attempted on June 6 at a former NATO base in Scotland.

Mechanically, the car wears a 5.3-liter V8 engine, with two Garrett turbos, and produces 700 horses with 678 Nm of torque.
