Renault Design has been singled out for another accolade, this time by France’s L’Officiel du Taxi which has named the Talisman the trade’s most ‘aesthetically pleasing’ car.
The French trade magazine has paid tribute to the Renault Talisman in its latest round of awards.
Renault’s D-segment estate was voted the most aesthetically pleasing vehicle adapted to the trade.
The shortlist for the magazine’s Design Award featured 18 different diesel, diesel-hybrid and petrol-hybrid models adapted to the needs of taxi drivers and operators, and introduced between May 2015 and June 2016.
The jury comprised L’Officiel du Taxi readers who voted by mail, along with a panel of professionals including journalists and taxi industry players.

A great event just happened in Denmark for Renault. Renault Talisman was competing for the prestigious award “Business Car of the Year 2017”. In competition with 10 other cars – Alfa Romeo Guilia, Audi A4, BMW 3 series, Kia Optima, Skoda Superb, Ford Mondeo, Ford S-Max Jaguar XE, VW Passat, VW Tiguan the jury members spend two days evaluating the cars and Renault Talisman won the title!
It is probably the most influential competition in Denmark. The Jury is members of Business Denmark (a union that employs freelance and employed sales persons that drives between 30-80.000 km a year in their job) There are also two Automotive journalists a consultants to the jury and a physiotherapist to evaluate the ergonomics of the car.
The Talisman was the winner and they said this in the reason for choosing the car – which by the way is the first time ever that a French car is elected Business Car of the Year was expressed by the chairman of the Jury.
“It is the dream of a salesman. The winning car is a real French seducing and great company car. It is roomy, comfortable to drive and with a lot of equipment. Especially the comfort is very important, since our members drives on average 50.000 km a year – comfort is important", says the chairman from Business Denmark Lars Bundgaard.
