The all-new Mercedes-Benz E Class is currently available with three different engines and the model is set to receive several new motors in June this year.

The German company is already taking orders for the executive sedan that can be had in the E 200 (184 horsepower), E 220d (194 hp), and E 350d (258 hp) variants, all equipped with a 9-speed 9G-TRONIC automatic gearbox. We've already heard that more engines are in the cards, and now it appears the current lineup will be joined by the petrol E 250 (211 hp), E 300 (245 hp), and E 400 4MATIC (333 hp) models in June. On the diesel side, look for the E 200d (150 hp) and the E 220d 4MATIC (194 hp).

Around the same period, Mercedes will start taking orders for the E 220d and E 200 with manual transmissions, while the E 350d with 4MATIC all-wheel drive system will be available from the second half of 2017. The E 350e plug-in hybrid that combines a 2.0 turbo and an electric motor is planned for a launch later this year.

As for the range-topping E 63 model, this one should arrive in the first half of 2017. It will offer a 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine, sending power to the wheels through a 9-speed auto.
