Aston Martin celebrates its 110th anniversary with a new model in the tradition of the Victor, here is the Valour. This is a limited series of 110 units that combines the 5.2L V12 biturbo of 715 hp with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Launch planned for the end of 2023.

McLaren Solus GT set the fastest time on this year's legendary Goodwood Festival Of Speed climb, with the British hypercar clocking a time of 45.34 seconds, making it the third-fastest production car time ever recorded on the course, behind the McMurtry Speirling (39, 08s) and the Nio EP9 (44.32s).
McLaren will build just 25 Solus GTs, all of which have already found their owners. It is powered by a naturally aspirated 5,200 cc V10 engine built by Judd Power that produces 840 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque. The car weighs less than 1,000 kg, its engine revs up to 10,000 rpm, with the car generating more than 1,200 kg of downforce.
The engine is mated to a 7-speed automatic serial transmission that is not found in any other McLaren model and it does 0-100 km/h in 2.5 seconds, having a top speed of over 322 km/h.
Each owner of a Solus GT will have a seat specially adapted to their body, while they will receive as a gift an FIA-approved race suit, a helmet and HANS system to protect their neck.
Its single-bolt, 18" rims, with the engine being an integral part of the frame - a first for a McLaren model - require no additional structures or subframes outside of the carbon monocoque frame.
Many of the Solus GT's parts are made of titanium and 3D printed, with the brakes consisting of six-piston calipers and carbon discs.
Deliveries of the Solus GT will begin in 2023, with each car costing £2.5 million (€2,920,000)

Ne vidim nešto spektakularno čudno, ukoliko su napredovali kao što se priča.
Gledao sam Tiggo 7 i jedina nelogičnost su paketi opreme. U nižem paketu ima svakojakih asistencija, čak i panorama, ali nema dvozonska klima ili grejanje sedišta.
Kada se pogleda da je u pitanju SUV od 4,5m, 1.6T sa sedmostepenim automatikom, i izobiljem opreme, cena koja počinje ispod 30k nije nešto visoka u odnosu na konkurenciju.

Moje neko viđenje je da prvo MORA da se pokaže da jesu, pa se onda dižu cene, tj. nastupa sa jačim cenovnikom.
Pa, Kia i Hyundai (i ne samo oni, naravno) kad su ušli u Evropu su kroz nekoliko generacija dokazivali da su brendovi na koje se možeš osloniti, dok nisu doveli svoje modele u rang cena ostalih renomiranih (non-premium) proizvođača.
Ne znam, možda je ovo stvarno neki svemirski kvalitet, ali dok se to (bar kroz jednu seriju modela) ne pokaže, mislim da su cene malo jače. U njih, delom, ipak ulaze i tradicija i reputacija, rasprostranjenost servisne mreže i dilera, kvalitet zamenskih delova...
