Kimi to star in Top Gear season finale

Kimi will be the ‘Star in a Reasonably Priced Car’ on the series finale of hit UK motoring show Top Gear.

A host of racing stars from both past and present, including Sebastian Vettel, Rubens Barrichello, Nigel Mansell, Lewis Hamilton, Jenson Button, Damon Hill, Mark Webber and of course the infamous ‘Stig’ have tested their skills around the Top Gear test track. Next week, Kimi Räikkönen will be the latest to add his name to that prestigious list.

Taking to the circuit, which is based on the main runway and taxiways of Dunsfield Aerodrome in South East England, Kimi will have to negotiate the legendary Hammerhead, Followthrough and Gambon bends as he aims to etch his name into the Top Gear history books.

And of course, the Iceman will come face to face with one of the most recognised figures in British television – the one and only Jeremy Clarkson.

Obicno sest. I ja sam se obradovao kad su najavili sedmu prosle nedelje. 2 sezone godisnje, ova i tamo negde u junu. Prosle godine su najavili da krecu u septembru a krenuli u januaru

jeste li videli samo koliko su stare dobre trkalice jeftine kod njih, inace sta je za njih 600 funti, kad im je plata preko 5-6 hiljada u proseku? To je stvarno lepo kod njih, imas uslove da se igras, a ne kod nas, sve skupo i plasis se da uzivas u voznji van ulice(karter ching, spojler ching... )

Jeremy Clarkson: No More Top Gear Until 2013

Hide the children. Darken the windows. Get out your all-black clothing. Jeremy Clarkson told a South African radio program that British motoring revue Top Gear will not return until 2013. We think this might be because of the London Olympics. Remember that this summer when you're watching Synchronized Swimming.

Specifically, while talking about the Top Gear Live road show Clarkson says it's the only time the three hosts will be together the rest of this year.

"It is going to be, it better be absolutely fantastic, it's also about the only time the three of us are working together this year because there's no Top Gear on this year."

We think this means we'll have to wait until 2013 for the 19th season to start.
