Pre 2-3 godine na sajmu, 2 modela karavana. Nisam zapamtio oznake, bili su mi potpuno neinteresantni ne samo zbog tog detalja.

Najgore je svađati se sa budalom. Prvo te spusti na svoj nivo, a onda te dotuče iskustvom...

Ovaj test sa malim preklapanjem u nedeformabilnu barijeru je po meni jedna velika glupost. A tek za SUV vozila je glupost. SUV je visi i ako udari i sa malim preklapanjem u nizi auto, jednostavno ga pogodi "gde ne treba" tj van crumple zona i tu nizi\manji auto daleko losije odradjuje posao. Ne znam zasto uopste taj "small overlap" test se radi u nedeformisucu prepreku.....
Normalno je da se svi scenariji ne mogu izbeci ali nedeformisuca prepreka je stvarno redak slucaj. Razumem malo preklapanje.

Pa ja cenim da nije toliko redak slucaj da neko zanese auto,i zvizne u banderu koja je zabetonirana...
Videh onaj M3 prepolovljen tako,a cini mi se i 2 Ferrarija da su zaboli stub.

Ove devojke se ne bi slozile sa tobom a vozile su se u novom land cruiseru. Inace apsolutno nista sto IIHS radi nije glupost jer su to ipak ozbiljne pare i ozbiljna drzava u pitanju. U takvim situacijama sitnica može da odluči da li ćeš da preživiš ili ne. Nema nikakve koristi da se gledaju individualne situacije. Ono što ima smisla je da se skupljaju podaci o svim nesrećama i da se u skladu sa statistikom kola optimizuju za najčešće vrste sudara. Bila je priča da je nekad Volvo slao svoje ekipe na mesta sudara da prikupe takve podatke.

Nikad nece moci da se iscenira svaka situacija u potpunosti, ali sto vise testova to bolju predstavu kupci mogu imati, i posledicno ce vozila biti bezbednija.

For car manufacturers, such as Volvo, it is very important to know as
much as possible about real world accidents and the circumstances
surrounding them. For this purpose Volvo established its own Traffic
Accident Research Team in 1970. Since then more than 28000
accidents have been studied in the real traffic environment (Isaksson-
Hellman, 2001).
The experiences and the data collected at the accident scenes have
helped Volvo make their crash tests and computer simulations more
realistic. It is important not only to focus on one specific crash test
situation. This could lead to sub-optimization where the result may be
satisfactory in that one scenario but insufficient when you look at the
bigger picture. Fulfilling one rating test like for example the Euro-NCAP
or the Us-NCAP is not enough to cover the different crash situations in
real life accidents.
In order to gain better understanding about the crash event, Volvo
started to equip their cars with a digital crash pulse recorder, DARR, in
1994.
