Da li bi neko znao da mi kaze gde se u Zenevi moze besplatno ili za normalne novce parkirati auto? Neko ko je ziveo ili bio kolima na sajmu na primer...

U centru teško, tj. može u garažama, ali košta. Ako ideš u Palexpo, tamo postoji parking naravno, ali ne znam kakve su cene. Napiši koji te deo tačno zanima, pa da vidimo. Prevoz odlično funkcioniše, pitanje je samo dokle su stigli sa radovima, tj. kolika je gužva u gradu.

Ne idem nigde određeno, već turistički, tako da mi lokacija parkinga nije previše bitna...

Ok, ja sam razumeo da ideš u Palexpo deo. U principu bilo gde van centra imaš besplatan parking, samo moraš da vodiš računa da nije rezervisan za stanare i da nije plava zona. Ovde imaš ukratko o parkiranju:

Parking Zones

White zone - Free parking space for unlimited time, unless there is a parking sign and a ticket machine. In this case, You need to pay for the parking ticket, usually CHF 1,5 per hour and parking is limited, usually to 1,5 hours.

Yellow zone - no parking. Yellow box with big cross on it - parking for the adjusted shop/business, during it's opening hours You can only stop here to load/unload cargo and passangers; after working hours parking sometimes allowed. See the descriptive sign.

Blue zone - Requires parking disc. Set the time on the disk clock to the nearest fortcoming half hour mark and You have one hour of parking after this set time. For example if You arrive at 9:23, You set the clock for 9:30 and You can park until 10:30.
Between lunch break - 11:00 - 13:30 You need to set the disk for next half hour and You are allowed to park until 14:30.
Between 18:00-19:00 You set the disk for next half hour and park until 9am at the morning.
Between 19:00-8:00 You don't need to display the paper clock, if You leave by 8am.
Parking disc (Paper clock) to be bought at any gas station or tourist office.
Sunday: From Sat 6pm until Monday 9am parking at the blue zone is free.

Locals can purchase a year stamp called macaron to allow them to park in blue zone without limit, for 200CHF/year.

Red zone - free parking up to 15 hours, You need red parking disc, which is available at the tourist office, police stations and banks).

Fine for unlawful parking: CHF 40
Parking rules: All wheels of vehicle must be inside of or on the parking lines.

P+R Parking
> For locals
P+R parking spot is for comuteers living out of Geneva and working in Geneva, if he/she has not good transport option to get to job available.
In addition to this, if his/her home and work place are more than 2km from the parking lot, he/she is also entitled for Unireso ticket.
Such parking place with public transport ticket cost about CHF 110 per month or CHF 1200 per year.

> For tourists
Some P+R parking spots are available without any special requierements, ie for tourists or visitors for one or more days. Those are:
Parking lots, parking garages
There are dozens of car parks distributed across the city. They are bit more expensive then parking on the street, but much more secure and readily available. Most notable are:
> Train Station Gare Cornavin offering over 900 spaces in it's Cornavin parking lot.
> Airport parking provides over 5000 parking spaces for parking up to 2 months for reasonable prices.

Free parking:
Blue zones - In blue zones You can park for free for 60 minutes. In car You should have a paper clock, where You note the parking starting time and leave it at visible place at the front car window.
From Sat 6pm until Monday 9am parking at the blue zone is free.
Supermarkets - In Shopping Moles such as Coop or Migros You have a parking lots with one hour of parking for free. You have to show your shopping recipe when leaving the parking lot.
After 7 pm - All parking places are free after 7 pm are free to park, as most residents of Geneva are going home to the suburbs of Geneva.
Hotels - Many hotels in Geneva offer free parking in their own parking lots.

Ako ideš kod nekoga, najbolje da se raspita gde da parkiraš u blizini. Ako ideš u hotel ili BNB, onda biraj sa parkingom. Možeš da se smestiš i u Francuskoj (Annemasse, St Julien), blizu je za obilazak grada, a više se isplati s obzirom na vrednost franka. Zavisi koliko ostaješ naravno.

Plan je da obidjemo nekoliko gradova, a najverovatnije cu spavati u Fr, kao sto si pomenuo. Ostaje mi samo da skontam da li da se odatle upucujem kolima do Zeneve ili da odemo nekim javnim prevozom ako postoji...

Ne verujem da ti se isplati da putujes prevozom do Ženeva više puta, meni je karta od Lozane bila 24 franaka

U svoje vreme je postojala autobuska linija 'D' koja je išla St. Julien - glavna železnička stanica (Cornavin), a u Annemasse je išao tramvaj broj 12 ili 13, nisam siguran, tako da ti se isplati da ideš gradskim prevozom. Granica postoji, ali nikad nisam doživeo da neko zaustavi javni prevoz.

Za kola mislim da ti je najbolja opcija P+R (Park & Ride) Etoile, P+R Sous Moulin, P+R Moillesulaz... Proveri za svaki da li radi i koliko košta, davno je bilo od kad sam bio tamo. Kad stigneš u centar u principu možeš sve da obiđeš peške.
