Auto Bild uvek pravi ovakve rendere, nekada to bude stvarno slično serijskom modelu ali imali su oni i solidnih promasaja.

Najgore je svađati se sa budalom. Prvo te spusti na svoj nivo, a onda te dotuče iskustvom...

Izgleda da ce biti najbolji, skladniji od C-a, a ne prevelik kao S.

Iz trećeg da ubodu da valja :D mada se meni svakako neće svidjati zbog farova, ne mogu nikako da svarim njihov dizajn

Meni se auto sviđa, i spolja i iznutra (dok mi se nova C klasa ne dopada).

Nema sumnje (barem kod mene) da će ovo biti lep auto, ali me nervira preterana sličnost sa C i S.

Meni je npr. bio jako simpatičan detalj sa razdvojenim farovima... Sva auta sa razdvojenim farovima su mi odstupala od drugih.
Šteta što Mercedes nije nastavio tim putem. Možda bi ovaj dizajn farova još bolje legao kada bi se razdvojio na dve grupe... A i još više bi razdvojila E klasu izgledom.
Inače mi je još uvek aktuelna kao naslednik W124 gledano s boka, čak i nazad me malo asocira. Ova će biti kao naslednik pretprošle. Voleo bih da vidim neki pod uticajem prvog "buljavog"...

- the new E-Class will premiere the new OM654 2.0-litre diesel engines which replace the outgoing OM651 series

- the "großer" OM656 3.0-litre diesel engines will first debut on the S-Class model year 2017 and then will also become available for the new E-Class

- the W 213 will be available with a wide choice of powerplants:

E 200 d with 150 hp (increase of 14 hp over the E 200 BlueTEC), new OM654 engine
E 220 d with 194 hp (increase of 24 hp over the E 220 BlueTEC), new OM654 engine

E 250 d/E 300 d (??) with 231 hp (increase of 27 hp over the E 250 BlueTEC), new OM654 engine
E 350 d with 265 hp (??) (increase of 7 hp over the E 350 BlueTEC), OM642 engine

E 250 with 211 hp
E 300 with 245 hp
E 400 with 333 hp
E 450 AMG 4MATIC with 367 hp

- the E 350 e and the E 500 versions will follow later

Georg Kacher writes it's surely the most intelligent limousine in the world. He didn't drive it, only passenger.

- 7 weeks ahead of production start Mercedes is still developing like crazy. New software after this drive.
- Completely new electronic platform, making the assistance systems more efficient and easier to upgrade. (similar to the Audi central command platform where you can put faster processors, graphic chips, etc. on the already installed platform)
- Drive-pilot function: car keeps lane and distance up to 210km/h!!
- If the car notices abrupt change in lanes it will help stabilize the car subtly
- NO autonomous driving. Engineer shrugged his shoulders and said: "We're not interested in that."
- Car to X communication warns driver of problems ahead on his route
- Automatic lane change is worked by tipping the turn signal. The car does the rest.
- 48 volt ready. Making a electric booster for the future possible to lower fuel consumption
- Car is already around 15-20% more fuel efficient
- 4 cylinder diesel and gas engines with 4matic at start of sale
- 6 cylinder engines and plug in hybrid later
- E450 AMG with biturbo 6.
- All engines will come with new programmed 9 speed 9g-Tronic
- E63 AMG gets modified high power 4L V8 TT
- Georg Kacher drove E400 and E300 (specifically modified 2L for US)
- 2L engine is very good. Completely capable of propelling the E-class and being very fuel efficient.
- 3L engine is powerful and sounds great. All anyone really needs.
- Engines can only be heard during acceleration. When driving it is impossible to hear them. Georg says he could mistake to be driven in a Tesla in any situation but hard acceleration (only without cracks and creaks haha).
- Quietest car he has ever driven in, including Tesla.
- one base, two hi-fi systems. Both sound great.
- Suspension is very comfortable. No experiments here with set up and architecture. Car is much more agile than previous generation. Comfort is unbelievable. Shocks, bumps, uneven surfaces do not make it into cabin. It is an event to be driven in it.
- The design is very good in person. Catwalk line looks great.
- Two fronts available. Sport with star in the middle a la SL. Luxury with classic star as ornament.
- The interior is futuristic and very well made and designed. Better looking than S-class.
- Instrument cluster in 3D look and highly customizable.

Conclusion:
The e-class is much more modern than S-class and much more relaxed than C-class.

Ne ide mi sport na E. Sport je za C i kupee, a za E i S ide kulturna maska.
E je sa sportom na Vi.

Ispašće na kraju bolji od S klase... :)

Nijedna generacija do sada nije ovoliko najavljivana, hvaljena niti predstavljana u konačnom obliku kao ova predstojeća.
Opet kažem, meni samo krivo što neće imati odvojene farove napred, a siguran sam da bi dobro legli na ovaj dizajn + bi razbili monotoniju istih modela...

W212 je, po meni, bio promasaj. Mislim nije to los auto ali nije bio na nivou jednog BMWa f10 kada je dizajn u pitanju. Sa druge strane to je udarni segment za premium proizvodjace i Mercedes zeli da se vrati na tron.

Iskreno se nadam da ce uspeti. Vidim da dolaze i novi motori, motorizacija ce biti na nivou konkurencije, radujem se tome...
