Nema sanse da ovo napravi par ljudi. Ovo je bila neka teska zurka.

Gugl kaze ovo u sustini sto Ivan rece, Sneg, a ovo drugo kad treba da se povuce teret.
It stands for second and low. For most of the history of automatic transmission vehicles, there have been three forward gears. Starting in the S position would cause the vehicle to start in second gear and would be useful for starting the vehicle on a slippery surface. Most vehicles would stay in second gear until the gear selector lever was moved into D for drive.
Low gear would be selected if you wanted the vehicle to start and stay in first gear. This might be used when starting with a heavy load.
S and L can also be used after you are already driving in Drive. If you are going down a steep hill, especially in a slippery situation, downshifting from D to S will slow the vehicle down reducing the speed more gradually than applying the brakes minimizing the potential for a skid. L will slow you even more, but should not be attempted at high speeds.

S je zaključavanje u drugu i prvu brzinu a L je zaključavanje u prvu brzinu.
Uobičajeno, takoreći standard kod svih klasičnih automatika.
Imam kod mene na automatiku isto to rešenje.
U oba ova položaja aktivirana je motorna kočnica, za razliku u Drive gde je mod jedrenja pri kočenju standardan.
Oba položaja se biraju pri kretanju nizbrdo, nekada je postojao i saobraćajni znak da je obavezno postaviti automatik u L (ili 1) položaj na jačim nizbrdicama.
Recimo Podkoren u Sloveniji je imao takav znak neposredno pred granicu, kada se ide sa austrijske strane.

Kada se nešto kupi u Nemačkoj i želim povrat pdv-a, REF obrazax iz radnje se overava na izlazu iz DE ili iz poslednje zemlje EU tj npr Mađarske?
