Conrad, I have managed to date the 2 photos, the No.7 Würth Ford Sierra was driven by German driver Armin Hahne during the '89 DTM season, and the No.25 Toyota Supra was driven Swiss driver Philipp Müller during the '90 DTM season, the Toyota was entered as a 3.0i and not a turbo, so not sure if the DTM Toyotas ran turbos? Toyota failed to score a single point during the 1990 season.

Just been reading up on the 1990 DTM Supra. It was the 3.0i (not turbo'd - I think the weight penalties for powerful turbo cars in DTM were just so great that it made that route unattractive, hence the reason that Ford withdrew the RS500s). It sounds like the Australian Supras went down the turbo route.

The DTM Supra weighed in at 1040kg, produced 330PS.

Ironically, the Audi V8, which won the championship in 1990, weighed in at as much as 1300kg in some races that year. Which makes you wonder if Ford made the right decision. Maybe there is more to that story.
