Williams will be sponsored by the popular drinks brand Martini
Brazilian newspaper, Dario Motorsport has reported that Williams will be sponsored by the popular drinks brand Martini in 2014. Although no official announcement have been made, various international sources are quoting that the deal is done.
It is known however, that Martini will be the teams' title sponsor, following the loss of PDVSA following Pastor Maldonado's move to Lotus.
The deal will see a secure financial backing for the British-squad following a tough 2013 campaign, with the team matching their previous worst result of only 5 points scored all season.
Martini first entered Formula 1 in 1972 with the Italian-run Tecno team, they also sponsored Lotus in the late 1970's. Following a long break, they returned to the sport in 2006 with Scuderia Ferrari.
Williams are switching to Mercedes power from 2014, having run the Renault V8 for the past two seasons.
The team are expected to unveil the new livery and partnership on the morning of the first day at the Jerez test on January 28th.

Sam Michael will become the McLaren Merecedes Team Prinicpal
Sam Michael will become the McLaren Merecedes Team Prinicpal in 2014, according to gptoday.com.
Michael would replace the outgoing Martin Whitmarsh, who is thought to be leaving the team after a difficult 2013 campaign which resulted a change in management, with Ron Dennis re-assuming his executive position within the company.
The Australian joined Formula 1 in 1993 with the cash-strapped Team Lotus, which dissolved a year later. He then switched to Jordan and later Williams in 2001, where he was promoted as Technical Director in 2004.
Following the Grove-based teams' poor performance in 2011, he resigned from the team in May and became McLaren's Sporting Director in 2012.
Whitmarsh's position has been under-threat due to interteam relations reaching breaking point, after Sergio Perez was dropped in favour of Kevin Magnussen, something which is widely-publicised that Whitmarsh was against.
McLaren are to launch their car tomorrow (Friday) at 12pm GMT online, though it is not known whether or not the management change will be announced.
